North Korea launched several short-range projectiles from the Wonsan area less than 24 hours after the United States, South Korea and Japan completed their Freedom Edge 26 exercise. South Korea’s military said the weapons travelled approximately 250 kilometres before falling into waters east of the peninsula. Their exact type has not been officially confirmed, although assessments indicate the salvo may have included KN-25 guided rockets or Hwasong-11-family ballistic missiles. The launch comes as Washington transfers elements of its missile-defence posture from South Korea towards the Middle East amid sustained Iranian attacks. That creates a strategic dilemma for the Trump administration: interceptors and systems committed to one theatre cannot simultaneously reinforce another. #NorthKorea #KimJongUn #DonaldTrump #KN25 #SouthKorea #USMilitary #Iran #MissileDefence #FreedomEdge #KoreanPeninsula Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
