Reform UK has received a second £36 million donation from a cryptocurrency billionaire. Thai-based businessman Christopher Harborne, the party’s biggest donor, said on Saturday he was matching the donation by Ben Delo revealed on Friday. Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Mr Harborne said the donation was “a philanthropic gift to our country” intended to help Reform prepare for government. A separate £5 million gift from Mr Harborne to Nigel Farage is also at the centre of an investigation by the parliamentary standards watchdog after the Reform leader failed to declare it in his register of interests. Angela Rayner has said the government is considering changes to the rules on political donations after Reform received a record £72m in recent days. Speaking to ITV News, housing secretary Angela Rayner said the government is working on a bill to address political donations. • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2lOHmNj • Get breaking news and more stories at http://www.i
