A bombshell report raises fresh questions over China’s role in the West Asia conflict. Firstpost brings you details of claims by US officials that high-quality satellite imagery supplied by Chinese entities aided Iran’s deadly strike on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, killing three US troops. Beijing denies involvement and says its assistance to Tehran complies with international law. The allegations come ahead of Donald Trump and Xi Jinping’s expected September 24 meeting in the United States, as Washington worries China or Russia may be helping Tehran track American forces across West Asia. Josh Barnes tells you more.
