Thousands gathered along the banks of the River Thames in London for the first-ever Ganga Aarti in the UK. Organised by Chinmaya Mission UK in collaboration with the annual Totally Thames festival, the ceremony recreated the spirit of the traditional Ganga Aarti held along the River Ganges in India. The event, titled “Ganga Aarti on the Thames: A Ceremony of Light,” was part of celebrations marking 75 years of the Chinmaya Mission. Organisers said the ceremony symbolised gratitude for nature, while also representing the flow of knowledge, consciousness, unity and service beyond borders. --- Ganga Aarti | Ganga Aarti London | River Thames | London | Chinmaya Mission UK | Totally Thames Festival | Ceremony Of Light | Ganga Aarti UK | Indian Culture | Indian Tradition | River Ganges | Firstpost #gangaarti #gangaartilondon #riverthames #london #chinmayamission #chinmayamissionuk #totallythames #gangaartuk #firstpost Firstpost is an Indian news and media website.
