A series of mysterious deaths across Thailand, dating back to 2015, were eventually linked by police to one woman: Sararat “Aem” Rangsiwuthaporn. The victims had financial ties to Aem (spelt as Am by some media outlets), with several dying after giving or lending her money. Investigators found that cyanide had been ordered repeatedly — but never in Aem’s name. Police traced the purchases through a chain of orders and deliveries. One crucial piece of evidence was a delivery photo showing a pink Hello Kitty bag inside Aem’s car. When police later seized the bag, they found a bottle of cyanide. Aem was eventually linked to 14 deaths. As of Aug 26, 2026, she had been sentenced to death in two cases and received life sentences in two others. She had also been acquitted in three cases, with eight more trials pending. See how investigators pieced together the evidence against Aem in Death Loans. #CNAInsider #Thailand #Thai #Crime #CrimeDocumentary #Documentary #TrueCrime #murdermystery
