UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called for a major overhaul of the global institutions created after World War II, arguing that today’s multipolar world requires a new international system. Speaking at the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Guterres backed comprehensive reforms to the United Nations Security Council and the Bretton Woods institutions, echoing long-standing demands from BRICS countries such as India and Brazil for a more representative global order. His remarks could add fresh momentum to the debate over UN reform, multipolarity, and the future balance of power. #AntónioGuterres #Guterres #BRICSSummit #BRICS #BRICS2026 #UNReform #UnitedNations #UNSecurityCouncil #UNSCReform #MultipolarWorld #GlobalOrder #GlobalGovernance #BrettonWoods #India #Brazil #Geopolitics #WorldPolitics #InternationalRelations #GlobalSouth #BRICSNews #UNNews #BreakingNews #GeopoliticalShift #NewWorldOrder #GlobalInstitutions ---------------------------------------------------------
