Iran claims it has shot down an American MQ-1 drone over the Strait of Hormuz, as tensions with Washington continue to rise. The claim comes as a planned Iran-Gulf shipping agreement has been postponed, blocking a potential route toward reopening the vital waterway. President Donald Trump has also floated the idea of the U.S. keeping Iranian oil. Meanwhile, Brent crude has risen, Saudi Arabia's alternative export pipeline remains shut, and Yemen's Houthis control the Red Sea coast. Every major route out of the Gulf is now under pressure.
