In ecological restoration on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, high-tech solutions are not the only answer. Instead, Trachung Barang chose to return to the old ways—applying the time-honored, traditional knowledge passed down through generations of Tibetan herders to heal the land. Working with the rhythm of nature, he used the very hooves of livestock to trample seeds into the soil and their manure to nourish it, all while practicing scientific rotational grazing. Like the resilient grass that anchors itself firmly in the earth, he guards the green of his homeland with a lifetime of patience. 1、20-Year Grassland Restoration Pioneer & Desertification Fighter 2、Recipients of “Rangeland Restoration Awards 2026” 3、The Subject of "Palzang the Herdsm
