German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said Berlin would not accept further escalation after a drone struck a train near Yahodyn in western Ukraine, about two kilometres from the Polish border. Pistorius urged Germany and its allies to remain “level-headed” and avoid provocation while making clear they were capable of defending themselves. Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces had targeted railway infrastructure used to transport military cargo from Europe, while Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian forces would continue operations across Ukraine. Pistorius also warned that Russia’s war and growing hybrid threats were increasing the need for stronger intelligence and military capabilities in Europe. #pistorius #germany #russia #putin #ukraine #poland #nato #droneattack #russiaukrainewar #ukrainewar #europe #germanarmy #bundeswehr #war #geopolitics #military #polishborder #europeansecurity Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read
