What NASA's New Telescope Will See That Webb Cannot

NASA launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on August 30, 2026 — and it was built to observe the universe in a completely different way from Webb. Roman's primary mirror is the same diameter as Hubble's, yet a single exposure can cover roughly 100 times more sky than a Hubble or Webb infrared image. That enormous field of view will allow it to survey more than a billion galaxies, map the invisible distribution of dark matter, test whether dark energy has changed over cosmic history, and search for planets that other techniques struggle to detect — including rogue worlds drifting through the Milky Way without a star. Roman isn't replacing Webb. Instead, Roman will find enormous populations of interesting objects across the sky, while Webb can examine the most important ones in extraordinary detail. Wide first. Deep second. -- DISCUSSIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA Commercial Purposes: insanecuriositybusiness@gmail.com Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@insanecuriosity Reddit: https://www.red
