What if the best way to challenge Africa’s stereotypes is to laugh at them? Charity Ekezie has built an online audience by using humour to push back against the assumptions people make about life on the continent. In her videos, she often answers stereotypical questions with deliberately opposite responses, turning ignorance into comedy. What started as a response to one stereotypical comment has grown into a career, giving her a platform to challenge perceptions of Africa for audiences around the world.
