Debris from what open-source analysts have identified as a Chinese-made DF-15A short-range ballistic missile was found in the Raghwan district of Yemen's Marib Governorate on September 14. If Saudi Arabia fired it — as most analysts believe — it would be the first time Riyadh has ever used a ballistic missile in combat. Saudi Arabia, China and Yemen have all declined to comment. The discovery comes ten days before Xi Jinping arrives in Washington for a state visit focused partly on China's role in the Iran war.
