A 50-year-old Western Sydney man, Omar Yassine, has been arrested and charged with intimidation after allegedly directing a racist rant at a 13-year-old schoolgirl on a Strathfield bus. The teenager, who cannot be legally named, was verbally abused and called a terrorist after she intervened when Yassine was allegedly filming another young passenger. Yassine was refused bail after erupting in anger during his court appearance at Bankstown, with a judge ordering his removal from the courtroom.
