The Oxfordshire village of Piddington has voted to leave the UK over plans for asylum seekers to be housed in a nearby former MoD site. The vote saw 91% of villagers vote to leave, and a sign reading "Principality of Piddington" erected. However, the referendum was a symbolic one, meaning the village won't actually leave the United Kingdom.
