A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 flying from Mashhad to Kermanshah was forced to make an emergency landing after a reported landing-gear tyre problem. In this Firstpost Live episode, we analyse how during the landing, sections of the cabin ceiling collapsed, with dramatic video showing panels falling around passengers. Everyone was evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. The incident comes weeks after another Sepehran Boeing 737-500 veered off the runway at Mashhad. Meanwhile, Boeing faces continued safety scrutiny, including a $3.1 million FAA fine. Senator Richard Blumenthal has questioned whether such penalties deter Boeing from future safety failures.
