Newly surfaced images are offering a rare look at the damage sustained by U.S. military positions across West Asia during the Iran war. The photographs, obtained by CBS News from active-duty U.S. service members, show damage at American positions in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia following Iranian missile and drone attacks. A new Pentagon Inspector General report says the US suffered up to $3.7 billion in equipment losses, including damage to nearly 60 aircraft. At least 18 American service members have also died since the war began, with hundreds more personnel wounded. The conflict is also becoming a growing political issue in Washington. The US House has voted for a third time to block further military action against Iran, with seven Republicans joining Democrats. President Donald Trump, meanwhile, says he expects the war to end by or soon after the November midterm elections, while maintaining that Iran wants a deal.  Gursshheen Gahllen brings you the latest on Firstpost Live. 00:00 — Ir
