Gov. Kathy Hochul discussed her plan for the state's relationship with data centers once the current moratorium expires next year. The plan calls on local governments to adopt a community investment framework that pays them back for the energy used. "It says that if you come here you're going to pay the community, and you're going to cover your own cost of power. And you're going to give at least $1 million per megawatt used," Hochul told NY1's Errol Louis Thursday on "Inside City Hall." #NY1 #NYC #News #datacenter #ai #newyork #politics -------- For more on this and the latest NYC news: http://specne.ws/NY1YT Watch live news: http://specne.ws/YTliveSN Get the Spectrum News App on all your favorite devices: http://specne.ws/GetSNApp2
