The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight holds a hearing titled “Restoring Election Integrity: Oversight of Voter Fraud in New Jersey.” The hearing examines how approximately 6,600 people who had identified themselves as noncitizens were improperly added to New Jersey voter rolls between June 2023 and June 2024. According to reports, the registrations were linked to a software failure involving New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle Commission system. Around 400 of those individuals reportedly went on to cast ballots, prompting questions about voter-roll safeguards, election administration and how the error went undetected. The hearing, chaired by Rep. Jeff Van Drew, is expected to examine what happened and whether additional measures are needed to protect election integrity. #njvotingscandal #midtermelections #uspolitics #ushousehearing #trumpnews #toilive Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
