The National Stock Exchange’s much-awaited IPO has seen strong institutional interest ahead of its public opening, with the anchor book raising ₹6,471 crore from more than 150 investors. Foreign portfolio investors accounted for ₹2,883 crore, while domestic institutions contributed ₹3,588 crore. The investor list includes major sovereign funds and global asset managers, alongside some of India’s biggest mutual funds, insurers and pension funds. LIC-linked entities invested more than ₹500 crore, while SBI group entities put in over ₹400 crore. Global names participating include GIC Singapore, ADIA, Norges Bank, Fidelity, GSAM, Eastspring and HSBC GAM.
