I want to inspire people who have always dreamed about building a treehouse to give themselves permission to make it real. These structures have a way of connecting us to nature, to each other, and to something lasting and magical. Too often, the permitting process or the fear of how to start stops people before they even begin. My message is simple: you can do this. You do not have to build alone. There is a whole community ready to help you along the way. It is about creativity, collaboration, and bringing a little more wonder into the world, one treehouse at a time. Pete Nelson transformed a childhood dream—a simple tree fort built with his father in New Jersey—into a movement that reconnects people with the natural world through pioneering sustainable architecture and elevated living. As founder of Nelson Treehouse, Pete has redefined what's possible when imagination meets craftsmanship among the branches. His innovative designs have elevated treehouses from childhood playgrounds
