A secret US-Houthi channel has reportedly emerged in Oman as Washington officials meet representatives of the Houthi movement in Muscat, according to Reuters. The reported talks come as Houthi forces expand their control along Yemen’s Red Sea coastline, including strategically important areas near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The Houthis reportedly told US officials they do not intend to attack American vessels and remain committed to the 2025 ceasefire with Washington. At the same time, Saudi Arabia is reportedly seeking US military support as fighting with Houthi-backed forces intensifies. With the Houthis holding key Red Sea territory and shipping security already under pressure, the reported US-Houthi talks could have major implications for Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Red Sea trade routes and the wider Middle East. #USHouthiTalks #HouthiTalks #OmanTalks #MuscatTalks #YemenConflict #Houthis #USYemen #TrumpHouthis #TrumpYemen #SaudiArabia #SaudiHouthis #RedSeaCrisis #RedSeaShipping #R
