For the first time in history, five generations are living, working, and leading side by side, and most of them aren't talking to each other. Roderick was seventeen when he joined a 2,000-member church staff and realized he was the only person in the room under 20. That gap sent him looking for what each generation was carrying that no one else could. Drawing on three rooms, a church staff meeting, a grassroots campaign, and a leadership summit built by two organizations that had every reason not to collaborate - he makes the case for shifting from age-segregated leadership to multigenerational collaboration, and argues that our crisis isn't leadership at all. It's conversation. Roderick M. Johnson Jr. is a Nashville native and young leader working at the intersection of faith, organizational development, and civic engagement. A business student at Belmont University, he is passionate about building people-centered systems that help organizations and individuals grow in purpose. Roderi
