China has pushed back against Washington after the US Congress approved sweeping legislation that could hit major buyers of Russian energy with tariffs of up to 100%. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said Beijing’s trade with other countries is based on “equality and mutual benefit” and should not face outside coercion. China also rejected what it called unilateral sanctions and “long-arm jurisdiction.” The bill, now headed to President Donald Trump, targets Russian energy revenues and could affect major importers such as China and India. #china #xijinping #trump #usa #donaldtrump #jinping #india #russia #putin #pmmodixr Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
