Vanuatu's government says a National Memorial Service will be held on Sunday for the MV Matui ferry disaster. More than 30 people are still missing and questions remain over the circumstances leading up to the ferry's sinking. Vanuatu's Maritime Safety Authority is lodging a criminal case against the ferry's owners for failing to follow regulations on the number of passengers allowed onboard. Maritime expert Dr Peter Nuttall joined The World from Whangarei, New Zealand to discuss maritime safety in the Pacific region and address some of the questions surrounding the ferry sinking.
