Reviewing Xiaomi's Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, the 2026 mid-range smartphone with the trips-off-the-tongue name. I've been using this as my full-time phone all week, so here's what I think of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max camera tech, battery life, gaming smarts and beyond. Certainly, if you're after one of the best blowers for battery life, this Xiaomi smartphone is right up there. Boasting a near 10000mAh cell, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G can survive a full weekend on one charge. That's with plenty of camera use, gaming and so on. Unfortunately, in some ways, this phone does feel like a step backwards. I don't want to spoil the surprise here in the description bit, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro Max caused me some grief this past week. As for the camera tech, well, it's a straight-forward setup that impresses across a range of conditions.
