The upcoming 81st United Nations General Assembly is set to become a major diplomatic flashpoint as senior Iranian officials are expected to attend the gathering in New York amid the ongoing U.S.-Iran war. The Trump administration has allowed a core Iranian delegation to enter the U.S., while imposing restrictions on their movement and luxury shopping. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is expected to attend the UNGA, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also reportedly accompanying him. At the same time, Washington has denied Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas an entry visa for the gathering, citing actions the State Department says seek to “internationalize” the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. #iran #us #unga #unitednations #usiran #donaldtrump #masoudpezeshkian #abbasaraghchi #iranwar #usiranwar #straitofhormuz #mahmoudabbas #usforeignpolicy #middleeast #ungeneralassembly Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
