For TEDx Avicenna Cinere School, themed “UNSEEN,” AVChestra presents one of the most iconic songs from the musical film The Sound of Music, “Do-Re-Mi." Rather than simply reproducing the original arrangement, this performance reflects the spirit of exploration that AVChestra seeks to nurture. Through the process of studying, adapting and developing the arrangement, students experience how a familiar piece of music can be transformed into something new through their collective effort and musical understanding. Avicenna Orchestra, officially abbreviated as AVChestra is a student orchestra and a creative space for musical exploration and artistic development at SMP Avicenna Cinere. Established in 2024, AVChestra empowers students not only to perform music, but also to learn, experiment, collaborate, and take an active role in the creative process behind each musical performance.
