Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that Russia could seek to test NATO’s resolve through drone or missile incidents that appear “accidental” while Poland strengthens its border with Ukraine. Tusk said Polish intelligence assessments point to a potential threat to countries supporting Ukraine, including Poland, and warned that Russia could seek to weaken NATO cohesion. Warsaw has completed 23 of 28 planned Hesco Bastion shelters near the Ukrainian border, while increasing military readiness and preparing engineers to rapidly restore damaged road, rail and energy infrastructure. Tusk also said Poland has increased air activity involving F-16s, Mi-17s and Black Hawk helicopters.
