In this video, Firstpost explains how Indian-origin businessman Siddharth Jawahar was sentenced to 11 years in a US prison for running a multi-million-dollar Ponzi scheme. The scheme affected 64 investors, including NFL star Travis Kelce. Jawahar, co-founder of Swiftarc Capital, was ordered to pay $31.35 million in restitution. Prosecutors said he misused investor funds, concealed losses and financed a lavish lifestyle. The report examines how the scheme operated, the allegations of evidence tampering, and the investigation by US authorities.
