The US and Denmark have reached an agreement over Greenland's security, Donald Trump announced on Friday, following months of threats to take the island by force. Trump said the deal gives the US "permanent control over security" in Greenland and prevents any US adversary from having a military presence on the island - like Russia or China. The US, Greenland and Denmark are expected to sign the agreement next week at the UN General Assembly. #greenland #china #russia
