As the eyes of the college football world fixate on Oxford, Mississippi this weekend for Lane Kiffin’s return to Ole Miss as the LSU head coach, there’s another SEC town that can say its seen this all before with Kiffin - Knoxville, Tennessee. Back in December 2008, the home of the Vols was buzzing with excitement when Tennessee hired the up-and-coming head coach to lead its team. But after just one season on Rocky Top, Kiffin shocked those same fans when he abruptly left to take the job at USC. And just like Ole Miss fans are bracing for on Saturday, Kiffin returned to Knoxville in 2021, this time as the Ole Miss head coach. With help from Vol nation, Ryan McGee helps share some Tennessee orange & white perspective on Kiffin’s return to Oxford. ✔️ Subscribe to ESPN Unlimited: https://plus.espn.com/cfb #ESPN
