Earl Spencer’s explosive new memoir has reopened the bitter fallout from Princess Diana’s death and triggered another public row with the Royal Family. The book claims King Charles told Spencer “we’ll forget her soon enough” after Diana died and that Queen Elizabeth II later offered to restore Diana’s HRH status.
