Children believed to be as young as five have been caught on CCTV stealing from a corner shop in Bournemouth while adults waited nearby. The shopkeeper says one woman even appeared to congratulate a child after the theft, raising fresh concerns about youngsters being drawn into criminal behaviour. The footage comes as Britain continues to battle more than half a million recorded shoplifting offences a year, with small businesses warning they are being pushed to breaking point. Peter Cardwell speaks with former Scotland Yard detective Peter Bleksley. Have you got a story?
