Xiaomi HyperOS 4 is out now in beta, and here's a look at the best new features and updates. I'm hoping to publish a full tips and tricks guide to HyperOS 4 once it's out of beta but for now here's a look at some of those changes. Xiaomi has concentrated mostly on performance for this version, which is certainly a relief. I've only tested on the 17 Ultra smartphone so far but you can tell that first party apps are improved in HyperOS 4, while third party apps also load quickly over time. Here's hoping you'll see this speed upgrade in budget friendly Poco and Xiaomi phones too! The Xiaomi HyperOS 4 update also changes the aesthetics to a soft glass vibe, similar to what you'll see on iOS. Thankfully this can be switched off if you're not a fan.
