Pro-Palestinian protesters have gathered outside a Philadelphia stadium as Ed Sheeran’s concert tour continues to be embroiled in controversy. Demonstrators say the British artist is on the ‘wrong side of history’ after his tour company dropped support artist Macklemore over his vocal support for a free Palestine on stage. Other support artists including Finneas have joined forces to boycott the Shape of You tour, while Ed Sheeran is accused of hypocrisy over his comments about being apolitical despite previously using the stage to raise concerns about the war in Ukraine.
