In the first part of our recap of the entire Gears of War franchise, we covered the events of Gears of War: Judgment, the first game in the series' chronology. Here in part 2, we're going to move on to Gears Tactics. Set a year after Emergence Day and 12 entire years before the events of the first Gears of War, Tactics is still pretty far removed from most of the story that has been told across the entirety of the franchise, but it's still a surprisingly meaty tale. Though it may be a turn-based strategy spinoff, Gears Tactics is still a story-heavy game that tells a gripping tale, one that is more crucial to the series' overarching story than you would think.
