Karibu Homes residents demand answers over building cracks

Homeowners at Karibu Homes in Athi River, Machakos County, are demanding answers from the developer over what they describe as substandard construction. Some residents, who say they are still servicing mortgages on the homes, have been ordered to vacate by the Machakos County Government over cracks in the apartment blocks. The homeowners are now calling for the developer, identified as Ravi Kohli, to retrofit the affected units and make them safe for occupation.
