Ed Sheeran apologised to fans for what he called “mistakes” and addressed the controversy surrounding his US tour during his Philadelphia show. The singer said he never wanted to be an “activist musician” but felt compelled to speak out on the Israel-Gaza conflict. Sheeran described the October 7 attacks in Israel as “horrific” and said the situation in Gaza was “catastrophic and unjustifiable”. He also criticised the idea of venues pre-approving performers’ content, saying concerts should remain welcoming spaces for people with opposing views. His remarks came after rapper Macklemore was dropped from the tour following his pro-Palestinian comments. --- Ed Sheeran | Ed Sheeran Gaza Comments | Ed Sheeran Israel Gaza | Ed Sheeran US Tour | Macklemore Ed Sheeran | Israel Gaza Conflict | Ed Sheeran Philadelphia | Ed Sheeran Apology | Gaza War | Celebrity News | Firstpost #edsheeran #israelgaza #gaza #israel #palestine #macklemore #edsheerannews #musicnews #worldnews #firstpostnews #fir
