Fel, 28, has spent years struggling with anxiety, awkward conversations and the fear of how others will react to her. After a difficult period working in healthcare during COVID, she found herself struggling to communicate and also how to process her emotions. Now, she joins the School of Yapping to confront her social fears and learn how to connect with others. As the workshop pushes her to open up, Fel takes a major leap of faith: she shares a deeply personal experience of assault, confronting fears that have affected her relationships and dating life. With support from friends and the workshop, she begins learning to treat herself with greater compassion and face challenges head-on instead of running away. Finally, Fel puts her newfound courage into practice in a heart-to-heart conversation with her sister, confronting years of silence and misunderstandings. It is an emotional step towards becoming more confident, communicating honestly and accepting that change takes time. WAT
