French President Emmanuel Macron has delivered a sharp response to Donald Trump’s controversial claims over Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, saying France will not have to “re-affirm our identity every morning” because “people say strange things.” Speaking to reporters in the French territory, Macron made clear that its status as French territory does not need to be repeatedly established. The remarks came during Macron’s visit to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, where they also discussed critical winter energy supply bottlenecks. The exchange adds a fresh twist to the ongoing dispute over Trump’s comments about the French territory. #EmmanuelMacron #DonaldTrump #France #SaintPierreEtMiquelon #MarkCarney #Trump #Macron #FranceCanada #FrenchTerritory #WorldNews #Geopolitics #LatestNews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
