Tamil Nadu Health Minister Arunraj said dengue is under control in the State, with door-to-door checks and stagnant water removal underway to prevent mosquito breeding. He urged the public to cooperate and report stagnant water in their neighbourhoods. The Minister also clarified that the deaths of three Anna University students were due to scrub typhus, not dengue, and advised people with fever to seek medical attention immediately.
