Chinese President Xi Jinping will be in the United States on the 23rd of September and he will meet US President Donald Trump on the 24th of September. Xi Jinping will be in America on a 3-day official state visit. On top of the agenda are Taiwan, Tariffs, Iran War, AI and Rare Earth Metals. This will be the 8th face-to-face meeting between the two leaders. They first met at Trump's Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida. They next met in Hamburg, Germany for the G20 summit. Trump then met Xi in Beijing in 2017, marking the US President's first visit to China. After that, they met again in Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires for the G20. Then Trump and Xi met in Japan's Osaka for the G20, followed by South Korea's Busan for the APEC Summit. Their most recent meet was in 2026, when Trump flew down to Beijing with a 400-member-strong delegation. So what can the world expect from their next meeting in Washington?
