A massive drone attack on Moscow triggered widespread disruption across the Russian capital’s aviation network on September 20, with more than 400 flights delayed or cancelled, according to RBC citing flight-board data and airport statements. Sheremetyevo recorded more than 120 delayed arrivals and 120 delayed departures, while Vnukovo reported 11 cancellations and 129 delayed flights. Domodedovo and Zhukovsky also reported disruptions, with some aircraft diverted to other airports. Russian authorities described the attack as the largest Ukrainian drone assault on the Moscow region, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine had used drones as well as Flamingo and Pelican weapons. Russia’s aviation restrictions were later lifted and airports began gradually restoring normal operations. #moscow, #russia, #ukraine, #russiaukrainewar, #moscowattack, #droneattack, #ukrainiandroneattack, #moscowairport, #sheremetyevo, #vnukovo, #domodedovo, #zhukovsky, #flightchaos, #flightd
