The murder trial of former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon has commenced in Sydney, with prosecutors alleging he meticulously planned and executed the killings of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies at a Paddington home on 19 February 2024. The Crown alleges Lamarre-Condon disguised himself as an Uber Eats delivery driver, used his police pistol to shoot both victims, and engaged in months of stalking behaviour following his breakup with Baird. The accused has pleaded not guilty, with the trial expected to last 12 weeks before a 15-member jury.
