Iran said its intelligence forces have dismantled three alleged operational cells linked to what Tehran describes as “hostile terrorist groups” connected to U.S. and Israeli intelligence services. The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence said the operations were carried out across West Azerbaijan, Alborz and Kerman provinces, thwarting planned assassination, sabotage and bombing attempts. Iranian authorities said one alleged operative was killed during an armed clash in West Azerbaijan, while three other suspects were arrested in Alborz and Kerman.
