In the second part of our recap of the entire Gears of War franchise, we covered the events of Gears: Tactics. Here in part 3, we're going to move on to events of Gears of War 3: RAAM's Shadow and Gears of War 1. Humanity on Sera was no stranger to the ground shaking. Engaged for decades in the Pendulum Wars, fighting each other for Imulsion, war was a constant – an unshakeable part of daily life. That is, until it ended in the Year 0 B.E. The Union of Independent Republics, having lost blueprints for a superweapon known as the Dawn of War, surrendered to the Coalition of Governments or COG. Sera was united amid ruins and millions dead, but it was finally time to rebuild and leave all that behind.
