The far-right Alternative for Germany party is celebrating after seeing huge gains in two German regional elections. Party co-leader Tino Chrupalla said the AfD will keep winning and called on Chancellor Friedrich Merz to resign. Early exit polls show the AfD is on track to win almost 38% of the vote in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, beating the governing Social Democrats at around 36%. And in the city-state of Berlin, it is expected to win 16.2%, a gain of 7%, making it the third most popular party. #dwnews For more news go to: http://www.dw.com/en/ Follow DW on social media: ►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dwnews ►TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dwnews ►Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deutschewellenews/ ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/dwnews ►Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/DWNews/ Für Videos in deutscher Sprache besuchen Sie: https://www.youtube.com/dwdeutsch Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/deutschewelleenglish?sub_confirmation=1
