Today marks the start of Organ Donation Week, so we’re bringing together two families whose lives were changed forever by one selfless decision. Ten years ago, Hannah and Mike Jolliff were given the gift of life when their 11-month-old son Ollie received a life-saving liver transplant from 17-year-old Miriam Lee, after her parents, Nicola and David, honoured her registered wish to donate her organs. Now, a decade on, both families unite every year at the British Transplant Games and come together in the studio to mark Organ Donation Week.
