Nicolas Cage has battled terrorists, demons, evil animatronics and just about everything else Hollywood could throw at him. But his greatest villain might be real estate. After spending a fortune on castles, a private island and a massive collection of homes, Cage found himself owing millions to the IRS and creditors. He worked his way back, paid everybody off and eventually jumped back into real estate. Then a massive sinkhole opened underneath the driveway of his $10.5 million Malibu house. At some point, you have to wonder whether Nicolas Cage is bad at real estate… or real estate just has it out for Nicolas Cage.
