In a significant legal development, a Delhi court has set aside a magistrate’s order refusing to investigate allegations regarding Congress leader Sonia Gandhi's inclusion in the 1980 New Delhi electoral roll prior to obtaining Indian citizenship in 1983. The revision plea, filed by advocate Vikas Tripathi, challenges the initial dismissal and alleges procedural lapses. Special Judge Vishal Gogne ruled that the lower court committed a manifest error by failing to follow Section 175(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. The matter has now been remanded back to the magistrate to hear fresh arguments and issue a reasoned order. The next hearing is scheduled for September 29, 2026. #soniagandhi #delhicourt #congress #vikastripathi #electoralroll #bnss #legalnews Thank you for watching our video!
